Pro-ACT Strategies for De-escalation
This 1-day professional development workshop is intended for individuals who are not Pro-ACT certified. Pro-ACT Strategies for De-escalation begins by developing the professional's awareness of their own role in in a crisis, providing insight on observation and preparation strategies that minimize the potential for crisis. In addition, the workshop introduces the cycle of assault and delivers multiple strategies for interrupting that cycle as a way of reducing critical incidents.
