Professional Assault Crisis Training
This training will be conducted on Pacific Time and is a 4-day Pro-ACT In-service Instructor Certification training plus an optional 1-day Pro-ACT Restraint Certification training. Successful completion of this training(s) certifies a participant to train the Pro-ACT materials to employees of their workplace.
Please note, the Pro-ACT Restraint Certification training can only be taken immediately following an initial 4-day training. Restraint Certification training cannot be taken on its own or independent of a 4-day Pro-ACT training.
Attendance requirements: Participants of the Pro-ACT In-service Instructor Certification course(s) must attend the entire training days to be considered for certification. No exceptions will be made.
Physical Expectations: Pro-ACT In-service Instructor certification requires participation in physical activities that will include, but not be limited to: stretching; balancing; bending; twisting; moving forward, backward, and side-to-side, and lifting arms. Participation in Pro-ACT Restraint certification training will also require kneeling. An inability to complete these activities will prevent certification.
Dress Code: The dress code for participants of the In-service Instructor course is comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement. Shoes must be flat, with closed toes, closed heels and non-skid soles. Persons who do not comply with the dress code may be excluded from participation, jeopardizing their certification.
