This 1-day train-the-trainer course is for individuals who want to provide OPTIONS 553 Workplace Violence Prevention training to their employees. OPTIONS 553 In-service Instructor training meets the training requirements of SB 553 and Cal-OSHA’s Workplace Violence Prevention Plan and OSHA’s workplace recommendations.
To register for In-service Instructor certification training, review the class list below, click on the date of the training you wish to attend, and complete the registration forms.
- If you are currently or ever were a certified In-service Instructor, register through your Instructor Profile.
- Initiating registration does not confirm a space in the training.
- Registration is confirmed when payment is received, providing space is still available.
Note about start time: Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. in the time zone or location identified on the schedule above. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to class start. Training begins promptly at 8:30. Carefully check the time zone or location for your registered training and plan accordingly. No accommodations will be made for late arrivals to class.
Note about live stream training: training will begin promptly as scheduled; it is important that you log in 30 minutes early to ensure that your sign-in is complete and all live stream connections are working properly by the time training begins. Participants must be present in a consistent training space without interruptions or secondary responsibilities and maintain audio and visual connection throughout the entire training. Participants who leave from the designated training area or are not present on camera will be considered absent from the training and will not be certified.
