Refund: A $200 processing fee for Pro-ACT In-service Instructor training and a $65 processing fee for all other Pro-ACT, Inc. trainings or workshops will be charged for all refunds or class date changes requested prior to the final registration deadline of the training. No refunds or class date changes will be made after the final registration deadline of any training. Participant substitutions may be made only for the training dates indicated in the registration. If necessary, notice of cancellation of training dates indicated above will be made by Pro-ACT, Inc. by the final registration deadline for that training. If this occurs, full refunds will be issued.
Dismissal from Pro-ACT In-service Instructor trainings: Pro-ACT and Pro-ACT Restraint Certification In-service Instructor trainings are certificated trainings approved by a variety of oversight agencies. To be considered for certification a participant must be present and able to participate all day, every day. Participants who do not present by the identified start time on the first day of training will be considered absent and will not be eligible for refund or transfer. Participants who arrive late or are absent for any portion of the training will be dismissed from the training without certification, refund, or transfer.
Participants in a live stream or virtual training environment must meet the same attendance expectations of participants in a site-based training. Live stream participants must be present in a consistent training space without interruptions or secondary responsibilities. Participants must maintain audio and visual connection throughout the entire training. Participants who leave from the designated training area or are not present on camera will be considered absent from the training and subject to dismissal without certification, refund, or transfer.
Participants who do not have the required manuals at the start of training will be dismissed from training without refund or transfer when manual delivery can be confirmed. Pro-ACT, Inc. is not responsible for incorrect mailing information provided in registration information.
The performance of all participants is continually evaluated with regard to: interaction with all other persons in the training environment; progress and completion of the exercise booklet; an ability to participate in physical activities that will include, but not be limited to: stretching, balancing, bending, twisting, moving forward, backward, and side-to-side, and lifting arms; conduct that demonstrates safety during any and all physical activities; a level of professionalism that exhibits an ability to safely and effectively present the Pro-ACT Principles to others and indicates an awareness of the seriousness of the subject matter being trained; timely achievement of required assessment competency of 90%.
To be certified as a Pro-ACT In-service Instructor, a participant must have completed an In-service Instructor Agreement prior to the start of training. In addition, a participant must complete the Pro-ACT In-service Instructor exercise booklet and the Assessment, with a competency of 90% or above, by 8:00 a.m. on the 2nd business day following the final day of Pro-ACT In-service Instructor training.
Participants registered for both Pro-ACT and Pro-ACT Restraint Certification In-service Instructor trainings acknowledge that a mandatory requirement for participation in Pro-ACT Restraint Certification In-service Instructor training is completion all Pro-ACT In-service Instructor certification requirements before the start of Restraint Certification training. Any Participant who does not successfully complete all Pro-ACT In-service Instructor training requirements by the start of Restraint Certification training will not be admitted into Restraint Certification training and their registration for that certification training will be voided without refund or transfer.
To receive certification as a Pro-ACT Restraint Certification In-service Instructor, a participant must complete the In-service Instructor exercise booklet and the Assessment, with a competency of 90% or above, by 8:00 a.m. on the 2nd business day following the final day of Pro-ACT Restraint Certification In-service Instructor training.
Certification is dependent upon the criteria outlined above and the ongoing assessment and evaluation of the Pro-ACT, Inc. Instructor and given at their discretion. Participants who do not meet all of the above requirements by the required time will not be certified and their registration will be voided without refund or transfer. Certification is not simply a function of attendance. Participants who arrive late or leave early at any time during the training day or otherwise do not meet the criteria outlined above may be dismissed from class without certification, refund, or transfer.

Participants who arrive late or are absent for any portion of the training will not be eligible for Continuing Education Units and will not receive refund or transfer.
While there is no formal or written examination as part of this workshop, the performance of all participants is continually evaluated with regard to: participation, completion of the exercise materials, interaction with all other persons in the training environment and a level of professionalism that exhibits respect for others and a commitment to our client populations.
