Professional Assault Crisis Training
OPTIONS 553 Training is a 2-day/14-hour training In-service Instructor certification course. Day 1 provides an overview of employer responsibilities for protecting employees from workplace violence; definitions of workplace violence, risk factors, and related terms in OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and California Senate Bill 553; and strategies for avoiding physical harm. Day 2 provides opportunities for prospective In-service Instructors to develop a deeper understanding of the content, apply the content to their specific work settings and employee groups, and practice delivering the content.
