The long-term physical and behavioral impact of childhood abuse and neglect is something that has been a Pro-ACT discussion point for many years. Unfortunately, the issue is no less relevant now that it was in 1995 when the CDC and Kaiser Permanente began the ACES study, an investigation of the influence of childhood abuse and neglect on adult well-being.

Anyone participating in In-service Instructor training scheduled after May 1 will be automatically trained in the most recent edition of the Pro-ACT training materials. Homeboy Industries provides hope, training, and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. Each year over 10,000 former gang members from across Los Angeles come through Homeboy Industries’ doors in an effort to make a positive change.
