Workshop – Reasons for Assault and How to Respond

Client assault is never acceptable but it is also never without a reason. The key to responding safely and effectively is understanding the reason. This 2-hour, interactive workshop explains the four basic motivations for client assault and how staff can recognize them. Participants learn how to  adjust their communication and physical activity to identify and respond to the reason for assault, in the moment in the moment of crisis, to increase safety.
