Assertive communication is a great way to avoid the Power Struggle. Take part in this discussion that explores how staff can work with clients by offering reasonable choices in lieu of making demands.
On Monday, August 29 at 1:30 p.m. PT review and practice assertive communication. Using a variety of situational examples, participants will develop an understanding of how to communicate assertively by using empathic statements and clear choices.
